There are all types of reality shows nowadays. Shows where contestants sing, dance, act, and even couples racing against each other to be the first to arrive at a designated area to be declared the winners of the reality program. Such a show is “The Amazing Race.â€Â As the couples begin their trek cross country, they must perform tasks along the way and are given destinations written in the clues they find.
Sometimes the stress is extreme and couples argue or seem to come unglued as they race through towns and countryside in an attempt to beat the other couples to the next clue. Last night as I watched this poor woman trying to find one specific man, in a village where no one spoke English, to obtain her next clue, I could feel her frustration as she kept running down the streets calling out his name. All of a sudden, she found she was lost and had a hard time finding her way back to her partner.
As two couples raced for the finish line I heard the lady of one couple saying she didn’t think it as fair that the couple that beat them has come in first, three times in a row. She felt someone else should get a turn at being first. Well, let’s face it, this isn’t a courtesy contest, everyone is out to win that million dollar prize. The reason they have been first three times in a row, I would say, is due to the fact they moved faster. After all, the name of the game is the “Amazing Race.â€
But as with all reality shows there comes the elimination. I felt bad for the couple that had to leave, they tried so hard. But they were very good sports about having to leave the contest. I felt all the contestants on this program did a fantastic job and should be given credit where due. It’s a tough competition and they all gave it their best.

“I Wanna be a Soap Star†enables inspiring actors to compete for a role on the ever popular soaps of today. This season’s prize was a role on “Days of our Livesâ€. The judges watched and evaluated each contestants performance in given acting scenarios and had to decide each week who was next to be eliminated. That’s not a decision I would want to make, because I felt they were all very good. There were so many emotional scenes, such as saying good-bye to a loved one dying in the hospital, and the terrible pain of having to give up their baby for adoption. They performed in scenes that not only had me crying, but had the judges in tears as well. The actors have help by means of a coach to give hints and tips along the way. He rehearses the scenes with them to help them bring out their best performance in each given situation. Stars from “Days†also acted in the scenes with the contestants every week. So you not only get to see some great young actors getting their feet wet, but some of your favorite soap stars as well. This season’s scenes also had some pretty sexy bedroom scenes and some outstanding dance performances.
“I Wanna be a Soap Starâ€Â was hosted by “All my children’s†own Cameron Mathison, who is also in a competition of his own as a contestant on “Dancing with the Stars†and doing a great fob at it, I might add.
Although all of them were quite good there can only be one winner, and this season’s winner was Ashlee Holland, and you can expect to see her on “Days†beginning in December. We wish you luck Ashlee, we’re all looking forward to seeing you on one of our favorite soaps.

The people on Survivor really have their work cut out for them. Living off the land, working together as a tribe, { that is, some are working together.} Apparently, it seems, everyone is getting tired of Sherea just sitting around watching everyone else labor. But of course, according to her statement to the camera, she’s simply conserving her energy for more important tasks, like the challenges. She plans to keep on resting until she absolutely has to get off the pot and do something. It’s a good thing she’s tough when it comes to challenges, or she probably would have been voted off this time.
But, it was Dave who had to leave survivor. He works very hard, but apparently he gets on everyones nerves. All the hugging and showing off did not go over well with the others. The flower power era is over, Dave. There’s no more peace, love happening going on anymore. Perhaps Dave is just a loveable kind of guy, but the others felt he was just a little too loveable. James warned him about all that hugging, but apparently t didn’t sink in.
I’ve got a few words of advice for Sherea. If I were you I’d get up and start to boogie, baby. Don’t forget, more people are being voted off, and you may just be next. Keep doing well in the challenges, but stop being so lazy when it comes to your share of the work. A tribe is supposed to work together. I’d hate to see Sherea be voted off when she is such a strong challenger. Some of these challenges are look very difficult and she puts everything she’s got into them. She just needs to put forth a little effort to be part of the tribe and all pull together.

Dancing with the stars is one of the most entertaining reality shows on television today. With major stars learning dance steps from professional dance partners, performing before an audience and judges, and doing such an excellent job, it’s hard for me to choose which couple to pull for. I felt they were all fantastic.
Entertainment icon Wayne Newton and his beautiful partner Cheryl performed the quick step to Viva Las Vegas, which I felt was really good. But the judges weren’t very impressed. The week before they told Wayne he needed a little more hip action, so in this performance he gave it to them, and the judges told him it was the wrong kind of song for swinging those hips. Come on now, what do you want? I hope I can dance even half as well when I’m his age. I thought he did a great job.
Marie Osborne and her partner performed a very hot mambo number that absolutely blew the judges away. Marie and her partner wowed the audience and judges with “The Death Drop†during their performance. A dance step Marie was nervous about doing, but they pulled it off beautifully.
Soap star heart- throb, from All My Children, Cameron Matheson and partner also dance the Mambo, and gave a great performance. Cameron looked even sexier {if that’s possible} as he gyrated and glided across the floor, with his lovely lady in hand.  Jane Seymour was positively gorgeous. She’s the only woman I know that can pull off being hot and sexy and ladylike and classy at the same time. I was very impressed by the performance of her and her partner. They were wonderful to watch together. My only problem was the fact it ended so soon.Â
If you love music and would like to see your favorite stars pulling off some great performances, then this is the reality show for you. Personally, I love it!Â
